My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You know what you get with a reputation for mellowness? You get all the cranky dogs for pen mates. Yup, that's me. Mellow. I'd rather charm them, but if my antics can't win them I just roll over and put my feet in the air. So far it's kept me out of fights, but you know what I'd really like? I'd really like to have PEOPLE in my life! I just go all to pieces when a volunteer takes me out for a walk. I try very hard to figure out just what they want me to do so they'll chose me next time they come. After all, you never know what kind of hard day they had----maybe even harder than living with a pen of cranky rescues---and if I can make their day a little brighter then I'm happy. I can hardly wait to get a family of my own to tend to instead of sharing a few volunteers with all these other dogs. Give me a home with you and I'll make sure you always have someone to make the hard days easier. And the easy days even better.
