BAILEY IS LOOKING FOR A FOSTER HOME!

Bailey is a very adorable energetic petite border collie mix. She is about 11 months old and knows all her basic commands. She would be an excellent dog for agility classes and loves to go on long hikes. She gets along well with other dogs and would do well in a home with older children. Bailey needs an active home where she will get regular exercise and because of her intelligence, mental stimulation as well. True to her breed, she is a sweet tempered dog who needs a home that will give her the exercise and mental stimulation.

In general, Border collie mixes are great companion dogs for active people who take their dogs into their activities. They are not the couch potato type, and if left to the couch, will find their own entertainment. Bailey is up to date on her vaccinations, is housebroken and spayed. She is also looking for a foster home until she can find her forever family

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Warren Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Warren, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Warren.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warren already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warren breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warren paves the way for another one to be saved.
