My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alana is a wiggly, friendly, happy, sweet and energetic, one-year-old, 40-pound, female, dark brown and white Am Staff-mix looking for a loving guardian. This little muscle girl was rescued from a shelter where she was going to be euthanized. She is full of tail wags and kisses for everyone she meets – canine and human. She adores being pet and loved on. She loves people of all ages and appears to good with children. Alana loves to play fetch and is responsive and very trainable. She already knows the command sit and takes treats gently from your fingers. She is also athletic and would make a great running buddy. She loves to play with other dogs in her foster home.

Alana is very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm tested and on monthly preventative. To meet and possibly adopt Alana or to get an adoption application, please contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net. Her adoption donation of $200 benefits the rescued dogs of Lucky Dog Rescue. She is currently living in a foster home on the Northwest side of Chicago and would love a family of her own.
