Silvery's Story...
This tiny pup has a beautiful black/brown and coat with silver highlights throughout. He is happy and playful! He loves tussling with his littermates, playing with his foster family, carrying toys around, and just generally doing all the fun things puppies like to do.

Silvery's mom was a pregnant stray who gave birth to her litter in an animal control facility. Luckily, one of our foster families pulled mama and her litter from the shelter the very next day. Silvery and his family have grown up inside a loving foster home, with care and kindness.

Silvery's mom is only 15 pounds, and he will probably be around that size when fully grown. His adoption fee of $115 covers neuter, vaccines, deworming, microchip and starting on heartworm prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Silvery, a Schertz Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Schertz, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Schertz.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Schertz already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Schertz breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Schertz paves the way for another one to be saved.
