Scooter's Story...
Mr. Scooter is about 2-3 years old, heart worm negative, fully vetted, and totally house broken. He was rescued from a local animal shelter and has done wonderful with the other foster dogs in the home. He has no food aggression and is a dog you can leave uncrated all day and not worry about things getting chewed! He will sleep on the bed, on his dog pillow, on the floor, just about where ever he is told to sleep and is a great dog! If you are interested in Scooter please email psiloveyouar@yahoo.com for an application and if you have any questions you can email teressa.houston@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scooter, a Cranford Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Cranford, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Cranford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cranford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cranford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cranford paves the way for another one to be saved.
