LEXI's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

LEXI's Story...
Lexie is a 2-year-old Boston terrier mix that is full of energy and LOVES to play. She also likes to run away, so special care needs to be taken to keep her safe. She gets along well with other dogs and loves people. She hasn't been around kids or cats in our care, but has never shown any aggression.

Lexie is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccines. She is heartworm positive, but has been on the gentle or slow-kill method of treatment. We expect her to test negative within the next 6 months. She would just need heartworm preventative given each month like any dog would get.

If you would like to know more about Lexie, please call Susie at 803-279-8069 or e-mail suzycobb@gmail.com To apply to adopt Lexie, go to bostonrescueofsc.org Lexie's adoption fee is $175.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LEXI, a North Augusta Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in North Augusta, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in North Augusta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Augusta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Augusta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Augusta paves the way for another one to be saved.
