Logan's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Logan's Story...
Logan is almost 7 months old and weighs around 45 pounds. He is also sweet and loving and being a boy is a little more outgoing and playful. He likes to play tug of war with anyone who will play with him (human or canine). He likes to place chase in the yard with the other dogs. He was rescued from a local shelter.

Both he and the other foster dog, Robin, get along well with our other dogs, no aggression issues. Don't know about cats or children as I have neither. I had them both at Petsmart getting a bath a couple of weeks ago and they had no problem with kids there petting them. They both house broken but still sleep in their cages at night. When it's time to go to bed all I have to do is say "it's time to go night, night, and they both head to their cages and sleep all night.
If you're interested in Logan (and/or Robin), please email barb@parkerpaws.org. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Logan, a Weatherford Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Weatherford, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Weatherford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Weatherford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Weatherford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Weatherford paves the way for another one to be saved.
