Jasmine's Story...
Hello, my name is Jasmine and I wasn’t always this well cared for. I was rescued from the shelter, barely a teen, pregnant and neglected. My foster mom has taken excellent care of me and I am, if I may say so modestly, the beauty you see now. Playful, at about a year and a half young, I am great with kids and don’t mind other cats. Dogs don’t bother me, but I am rather independent and would be just as happy as an only cat and like all the attention for myself. My medium coat is low maintenance and an occasional brushing is always appreciated. I have many stories to share about my time with my foster family.

Please call CARE @ (804) 288-9797 and ask for my foster mom Alicia, she will be glad to tell you all about me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasmine, a Richmond Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
