My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cassius was found by an "angel" by the side of the road with a traumatic eye injury. The eye could not be saved and Cassius has been in foster care while his incision healed. Now he is ready to find a family of his own! At the foster home, he has big dogs and cats to teach him manners and he knows sit and down (for a treat). He is working very hard on potty training and is a cuddlebug. His only "special need" is to be sure if you want his attention - go to his "sighted" side. Animal Advocates of Moore County is committed to all aspects of animal welfare including spay/neuter, animal cruelty and animal rescue accompanied by community education and diligence toward humane legislation. We promote compassion and protection for all animals. Animal Advocates is not a shelter. We rely on fosters to give our animals a great start towards finding their forever home. Animal Advocates will have cats "in residence" at Petsmart in Aberdeen NC during the months of January, June and November in 2012. Animal Advocates is at Petsense 2414 Horner Blvd in Sanford NC with adoptable dogs every Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Adoptable cats are "in residence" at the store. Adopters must fill out an adoption contract. Adoptions fees for dogs is $65 which includes spay/neuter, deworming and a one year rabies shot. The cat adoption fee is $25 which includes spay/neuter, deworming and a one year rabies shot. For information call Barb at(910)783-7693 or the Animal Advocates office (910)944-5098
