Lucas's Info...

Lucas's Story...
This darling fluffy kitten is estimated to be 5 1/2 mos old. He's a loving little fellow and very energetic! Lucas is always climbing or twining around your legs when he's not playing with every object in the room. He is quite a soccer player & has a constant purr even while he's in motion. This is one of those kittens who lives life with gusto and puts a lot of energy into whatever he's doing. He loves to flop down on his side for tummy rubs too. Lucas has a thick beautiful coat with frosting that is a joy to stroke!

Lucas is seeking a home where he'll have another kitten or active young cat companion (He's already good friends with Tony if you're looking for a pair!). Currently in foster care in Burke, VA.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucas, a Arlington Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
