Andy is an adorable and affectionate 3-year-old Cocker Spaniel. He loves to run and jump and guard his territory. He gets along with dogs, loves people, would do well with children, and is okay with cats. He is catching on to using the doggy door to do his business so he will probably be trained by the time you read this. He weighs about 30 pounds. This poor little guy was found resting under a car on a major, congested street. He looked like a pile of dirty and oily rags. He was tired, hungry, and smelly. Andy would not budge from under the car but he let himself be grabbed and then carried to his foster's truck. Now, he is neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, a fecal test was done, micro-chipped, and front-lined. Contact Terrell at: 323-385-8993 or: tc2806@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Andy, a Los Angeles Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
