My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, thanks for looking at me. My name is Missy and I’m looking for a home, a forever home to love me. My first owners moved far away, and didn’t want to take me with them. My owners gave me to a rescue to find me a really loving home. They didn’t take good care of me because they didn’t know how, so now stranger’s kind of scare me, until I know they won’t hurt me and will love me. I love to play, and really like sitting on laps too. I have friends here at Inland Small Dog Rescue I play with. I am really pretty good at going potty outside, when my rescue people leave, now they don’t crate me, but I am ok in a crate. My rescue people say I have to have a fenced yard, and they want to adopt me to someone who won’t leave me again. I like kids, but not really young one’s because they move very quickly and scare me. I would love a home where my new guardian is patient and knows how to take care of me, especially at first, because, like I told you, I do get scared of strangers and new places. After I settle in for a few days, I’m so very happy. I love to chew on bully sticks, and hooves, and my rescue people feed me really good food, so I’d be really happy if you would do that for me too. I like car rides, walks, snuggles and am crate and house trained. If you want to adopt me, you have to contact my rescue people. My fee is one hundred dollars and that helps dogs like me that come through rescue and need things from a dog doctor, like shots, and stuff. Not much fun for a dog, but they say I have to have those things.
Woof.
Missy
