Carmella's Story...
Carmella is a sweet young female that was rescued from the shelter. She is a shy dog at first but warms up very quickly. She thrives on attention and wants to be with you at all times. She is intelligent and is learning basic commands quickly. She wants to please whoever will give her love and attention.
She is just learning to play with toys and will need some sturdy chew toys to help her learn appropriate things to chew. Carmella will need some work on building her confidence around other dogs. Until she has some stability in her life and learns to trust again she cannot be with other dogs.
Carmella is best suited to someone that is low-key, patient and is home most of the time. If you would like a sweet, loving girl that will be your best friend, please contact Arizona Golden Retriever Connection and ask to meet me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carmella, a Scottsdale Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
