Jackson's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Jackson's Story...
Jackson is a 5 1/2-years-old Blue Merle Great Dane. He is a big boy weighing approximately 160 lbs. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccines. He is good with other dogs and he's been around kids. Him and his buddy Beaux, a 4-year-old blue Dane, need a new home because family is going through a divorce and owner will not be able to keep the dogs in new home.

Jackson and Beaux are very sweet dogs in need of a loving home with lots of space to run and play. Both attended training classes at Man’s Best Friend, and they still respond to some commands. They are currently in a home with 3 small kids. They have not been around cats. They must be indoor pets, although they do like hanging outside on nice days.

If you can give Jackson and Beaux a new home, please fill out the adoption application on our website.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackson, a Austin Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Austin, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
