Bess's Story...
Bess is a happy girl to be out of the shelter. Her owners had to give her up due to being evicted. Bess loves attention and just wants to be petted! She is front declawed and has very pretty and unusual markings of blue and yellow marbled colors! Her fur is long and luxurious - and she is a big girl which makes her foster mom think she has some maine coon in her! Bess wants a forever home and to never be evicted again.

Bess is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, and FIV/FELV negative. Her adoption fee is $85.

Several of our cats can be seen at the following Houston Petsmarts 7 days a week any time the store is open.
Additional cats are available for viewing at Petsmart each weekend from 12-6pm.
Please email to assure the cat you are interested in will be at the weekend event!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bess, a Houston Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Houston, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
