Sparky's Story...
YOO HOO...YAY...YIPPIE YI YO..WOO HOO!
A celebration was in order when we got the great news that this guy is finally free of heartworms and is now in great health! Sparky is a gorgeous 5-6 year old tri colored male who came to us with heartworms and struggled as we tried to rid him of them. Because he had a low tolerance for the medication, he had to be treated very slowly. But time was on his side and now he is finally healthy and can live a long and happy life. This handsome little guy is totally house trained and gets along great with other dogs.

About Cocker Spaniel Rescue of East TX

About Our Rescue Group...

Cocker Spaniel Rescue of Houston started out 20 years ago with only two volunteers and is up to approximately 40 volunteers in the Houston area alone. We have established chapters in both Dallas/Ft Worth and Austin/San Antonio and are working together to place hundreds of homeless cocker spaniels each year. Because many of these dogs come in with serious injuries or in need of expensive surgeries, donations are always needed to cover those expenses. And because of the number of dogs that are continuously coming into our program, we are always in need of foster homes.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All of our dogs are fostered out of our homes but we get together every weekend to show them. To find dates and locations, go to our website at www.cockerkids.org.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fee is only $250 which includes spay/neuter, all shots and full health check. We require a completed application (found on our website at www.cockerkids.org) and either a home check or vet reference.
