Sebastian's Story...
Hi, my name is Sebastian, I am a 9 week old pup with the heart of gold. I was born on January 21, 2012, just two days after my mom was rescued from the dog pound. Whew, was I a lucky fellow, that was close. My mom is Heidi, she is also listed on this same web site. Yes, that really is my mama, isn't she pretty.
I don't look much like my mom, since I am a low rider and she has long legs, but I get around just fine. As you can see in my pictures, I can almost hide in the long vegetation at my foster home.
We can take walks together, play chase the ball and just veg out watching a movie. I promise to snuggle with you.
I am looking for my forever people, someone to love with all my heart and hope they can love me just as much. So, if you are looking for a handsome, fun loving, tail wagging buddy, look no further, I am right here.
Sebastian is microchipped, neutered & up to date on his shots & vaccines. Please complete an online application at www.rescueahart.org. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sebastian, a Cincinnati Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Basset Hound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Basset Hound for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Basset Hound puppy from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Basset Hound breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
