Rascally Rabbit Rescue and Critter Haven of Arizona, Inc. is a not for profit, volunteer-run,rescue organization based in Mesa, Arizona. All of our rescue pets live in foster homes, where their foster moms and dads provide the love and care they need until we find their loving, forever-homes.
A very nice lady called the rescue having found little Choppy on her street. Her neighbor decided to just “set him free”, instead of doing the right thing and finding him a suitable home. Luckily a good Samaritan was nearby, and she picked him up, preventing him from becoming food or dying of thirst, hunger, or the elements. He is a reminder to all that getting a pet is making a commitment for a lifetime, and domestic animals are meant to be cared for by people, not thrown out on the street.
Chopper is a sweet boy and very good about using his litterbox. He had a home for a short time, but wasn't happy there. We consider him "special needs" because he needs someone who is patient and has a lot of time to spend with him. He recently lost his friend, Daisy May, and may be willing to bond with another rabbit.
Interested parties are required to fill out an adoption application. The rescue is always in need of foster homes for these wonderful pets.
