My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ava is a beautiful blue merle Aussie pup with blue eyes, stub tail...and just waiting for her forever home. She is 8 wks. old currently and will not be available for adoption/transport until April 13th.
She will have 2 parvo/distemper shots, bordatella vaccine and will have been wormed several times. Pups must be 9 wks. of age and must have these shots in order to transport - thus the wait.

If you are not familiar with Aussie shepherds they are very intelligent, high energy and are probably NOT good candidates for apartment living for this reason.

The spay will be left to the adopter and should be done when they reach 6 mo. of age - or whenever your vet suggests. Proof of spay must be provided to our rescue via snail mail or fax. Ava will be transported to the NE via Alpha Dog Transport upon adoption. They charge $125 for their services. They will also hand off all vet records at that time.

Pups this age cannot be left alone for over 3hrs. at a time. This requirement aids in housebreaking and bonding with your dog.

We reserve the right to not adopt to families with children under the age of 8 and apartment renters.
