CHIP's Story...
WHAT A CUTIE!! Chip is a neutered, male JRT mix puppy, approx 2-3 months old. He's a very well adjusted little guy, comfortable with adults, kids, & other dogs - cats are unknown, but with his sweet personality & young age, we feel he would be fine. He's well on his way to being housetrained & is using the doggie door. This little boy is going to be a great addition to any family, but we would prefer he not left alone for long periods of time. A securely fenced yard is a MUST. Chip's $250 adoption fee includes neuter, current vaccinations, fecal test, & micropchip ID.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CHIP, a Phoenix Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
