Brandy's Story...
Brandy is a rescue from the Fairfield shelter during the Thanksgiving holidays 2 years ago. She was a 3 month old puppy, picked up off the streets in Oakland by a couple who didn't want her to fall into the wrong hands. They wished to keep her and took her to their vet for her shots but their apt didn't allow animals. Not the 1st time we've heard that saga! Anyway, she was a very playful, affectionate puppy that loved to frolic. Brandy has turned into a very sweet and charming young adult who still loves to play and is looking for a playmate, must be a male who is at least her size or larger. Her favorite boyfriends have been 2 shepherd mixes and a Boxer! Because she tends to be possessive of them, as is true of most relationships, no other girls allowed! And probably no dog parks! But a nice backyard where they can run and play would be perfect! Brandy can win over even the most hardest of hearts! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brandy, a Berkeley American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
