My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy is stunningly beautiful when you see her in person. She has a beautiful personality to match and will make a wonderful family pet. She is a young girl approximately 9 months old and currently weighs 75 lbs. Some people believe she is a pure Great Dane but we think there might be something else in her breeding but regardless she is a big girl.

Here is what Daisy's foster family had to say about her:

If you love dog kissie's and cuddles then Daisy is the one for you. Great Danes are lap dogs and they love to sit on your lap. They don't realize how BIG they are. Its funny watching a Dane backing up to sit on your lap. Daisy is a real sweetheart who loves to please, and is very quiet in the house. She is very friendly with everyone and she loves children.

We took Daisy to a dog park for the first time and she had so much fun with all the dogs whether they were big or small. She had a blast. We tried the crate for the first night but she cried and barked for about 10 minutes non stop. She hates it, so we took her out and she has slept though the night since then on her pillow in our bedroom. Danes love to be around people all the time and Daisy is no exception. She is my Shadow.

Daisy is not shy of anyone or anything. She can be trusted to be left in the home alone without any issues. She loves her squeaky toys and will carry them about with her. She is very low energy in the home but outside she loves to run and play. She is very quiet in the home and contrary to what you would think, she would be fine for apartment living.

Daisy now knows how to sit, shake a paw, come, stay, off. She is a quick learner as she is so praise motivated and really wants to please you. She loves going for rides in the car and does very well. She does still pull on leash but we are working on that. Her new family would do best to continue working with her on that. She is fully house trained and knows to do her business outside - yay! So far we have had no issues with her chewing or being destructive in any way. She has very good house manners.

Daisy is a very sweet dog with a lot of love to give. She is a Dane and they are a very big breed. They are inside dogs and should not be left outside. Daisy loves people and should be included as part of the family. She is very strong so would need someone that can handle a puppy of this size to further her training. I have had 3 Danes and just love this breed they are very affectionate and love to be around people, and are very social dogs.

We would advise that you research the breed before applying.
