Ladybug's Story...
Ladybug is an adorable, bouncy, fun, playful and sweet, 5-year-old, ten-pound, female Jack Russell Terrier looking for a loving guardian. Ladybug loves to give kisses, have her belly rubbed, tennis balls and small stuffed toys…she will walk around for hours with her “stuffed baby” in her mouth. She currently lives in a foster home with multiple other dogs and cats and gets along well with them all and on the rare occasion that she needs to be corrected, she responds quickly to a firm “no”. She’s so small, that she’s easy to pick up and carry around and cuddle with. She loves attention and will nudge your arm for petting and playtime. She loves to play fetch, and will dance on her hind legs for treats! She is housebroken and will let you know when she has to go out, crates very well, is not a barker and is non-destructive. She will make a great companion for someone, with or without other dogs or cats. She would do best with a more laid back dog or cat, as she is not big on playing with other dogs.

Ladybug is healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested. To meet and possibly adopt her, please contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net. Her adoption donation of $200 benefits the rescued dogs of Lucky Dog Rescue.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ladybug, a Chicago Jack Russell Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
