Biscuit: 1 year's Story...
Guess what? I have been saved from death row and am now being cared for by Ohio Hound Rescue. I am really grateful that I was chosen, and will soon be ready to find a forever home. If you think you might like to adopt me all you need to do is fill out an application. The nice foster moms at OHR will let you know when I am ready, and will help you arrange transport to NY, CT, VT, NH (or elsewhere.) Right now... I have to see the vet here for my bloodtests, shots, spay/ neuter and microchip. They tell me I can be adopted after April 15th (tax day.) Requested adoption donation is $100.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are seeing me on this "Ohio Hound Rescue" listing, it is because I am fostered in Ohio or Kentucky, and have transport available to PA, NY, CT, NH or VT AFTER I am adopted. My adoption fees are deliberately kept as low as possible, so that you can afford to pay www.rescueriderstransport.com for my ride home.

** Now in foster care after being vetted. Crate trained and housebroken. Good with kids, cats and dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Biscuit: 1 year, a Buffalo Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle for sale in Buffalo, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle dog from a breeder in Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
