Tippy's Story...
Tippy came in as a personal pet. She has been through a lot in her life time and she's only 3 months old. Her owner said she "fell". The vet says differant. The vet says the dog was abused and she did not fall to get that broke leg. She has been in a cast for 6 weeks and it will be coming off soon. Her mother and other litter mates which have been saved all were abused and really mistreated. Isabelle is the mother and was adopted by one of our kennel techs. The whole story is very sad and will bring tears to your eyes. Please come out and visit Tippy today, she will steal your heart. Even though these guys were abused, it only took love to bring them back around to great pets. Visit as soon as you can! 828-682-9510.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Burnsville, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Burnsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burnsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burnsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burnsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
