Oscar-Adopted!'s Story...
Oscar and his sister were surrendered to our rescue after an officer found them living with their mother outside. Oscar likes to be with people and enjoys attention and affection. He is doing very well learning more and more every day. Oscar has an outgoing and playful and curious personality. He likes to play and explore but then is content to take a nice nap and relax. He is just an easy going kinda guy. Oscar would love to be adopted to an active family because he loves being included and doing everything. He loves car rides, walks, tug toys, chasing the ball and chewing on bones and just hanging out with the family. He does fine sleeping in his crate or on his own cozy pet bed. Oscar would love a fenced in yard so he can run free and play and play and play. Ps. I got my name becasue I had a sister so my foster family thought it would be cute to name us Oscar and Emmy. (They liked movies) Birth date 1/7/12

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar-Adopted!, a Detroit Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
