Georgiana Darcy's Story...
Who's the sweetest purrbaby? I am! I'm Georgiana, and am a total love machine. I start purring the second you touch me. I love humans, perhaps because one of them save my siblings and me from euthanization at a rural animal control. My signature move is to look way upat you - almost bend my head back. I am a lap kitty. A few of my siblings and I had a bad upper respiratory infection (like a bad cold) that we're almost over, and I'm ready to meet you! Please fill out an application at www.southernanimalrescue.org in order to visit me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Georgiana Darcy, a Atlanta Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
