Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Moose is an owner-surrender because of landlord objections. He is an adult dog who appears to have led a simple and happy life with his one owner and it is hard to watch him sitting confused and lonely in his cage. Even though Moose misses his owner he hasn’t let that stop him making new friends and all the handlers say “what a nice dog” when his name is mentioned. Moose’s owner told the shelter staff he likes other dogs and he has shown that he is generally calm and easy going. Moose didn’t appear to know many obedience commands when he came to the shelter or even how to play with the baskets of toys we have, but he is enjoying working with the handlers and already knows sit. Even though he is medium sized and strong, Moose walks nicely on the leash and really likes to be with people and pleasing them. Moose is looking for a forever home who will introduce him to all the simple pleasures in life like chasing balls and playing games and that doesn’t have a landlord who might decide this handsome boy is an inconvenience.
