My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Here is a sad true story about a little black cat who was once owned by a horrible family or person and they dumped, abandoned, threw him out on to the cruel streets. He caught a virus in his eyes and when we got him, one had to be removed immediately. we tried desperately to save his other eye but sadly that too had to be removed to save his life. Now he's totally blind. It's harder to become completely blind when you've had the use of your eyes. We had a kitten born with no eyes, but she was fine because she never had sight to begin with. Felix is adjusting to his foster home and they are showering him with love and attention. Attention, did I say attention? He LOVES attention!! He almost turns inside out for ATTENTION!!
But that's just a foster home for now and that's these kind hearted, loving people fo, they help make them whole again. Once the broken has been fixed as much as possible and hopefully is adopted to a loving home, they will take on yet another broken, hurt and damaged animal.
Felix will need a loving and patient home who will give him the love he craves and will not move the furniture around. He will need a consistent environment. As with all creatures who have lost a sense, the other senses become more sharp. So if you think that you are that special type of person, please consider adopting Felix. He will reward you with so much love, he's just a great, great cat!
He hs been completely vetted and other than being blind, he is perfectly healthy and he is a young cat. Bownie points for heaven is what I call taking in a special needs cat.

You may obtain an online application by logging on to CatAdoptionRI.org or by emailing catadoptionteam@aol.com. All of the cats and kittens are adopted out with Rhode Island State mandated proof of spay or neuter. In order to take your new cat or kitten home with you, there must be an approved application prior to adoption day. Application approval is usually within 24-48 hours.
We, at CATS, are very proud of all of the cats and kittens that we help facilitate finding new forever homes, and work very hard to make sure they are happy, healthy and well socialized. All of the cats and kittens are fed only Royal Canin cat food.
We are at the Providence Petco, located at 585 N. Main Street, Providence, RI every Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm and you are welcome to come by and see all the cats and kittens that are looking for new 'Forever Homes'. Hard copy medical records accompany each cat and kitten on adoption day as each cat or kitten is completely vetted prior to their adoption.
The adoption donation is $150.00 each after an approved application. This is not a sale, but an adoption donation. The policy is that all of our cats and kittens will be adopted out spayed or neutered, tested for feline aids/leukemia, and have all age appropriate shots. There will not be any adoption of any cat or kitten that has not been spayed or neutered first. There will be no exceptions. This means that there is less out of pocket costs for people who adopt a cat or kitten from us and you will be in 100% COMPLIANCE WITH THE SPAY/NEUTER LAW TOO!
