Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Toby has found a special place in our hearts. He was brought to school one day by a little girl who felt like he needed some special love, and he certainly does. Toby's mother was malnourished and, as a result, Toby didn't receive all the nutrients he needed as a little pup. His first vertebra hasn't developed quite right and if he sleeps or lands the wrong way, he can get a shot of pain. This hasn't slowed him down much though. Toby still wants to run and play with all of his sisters and the other dogs in his foster home. Our vet thinks that Toby will do just fine as long as he moderates his exercise and eats properly, though he'll probably be a laid back dog when he grows up. What Toby needs, is a nice, loving, quiet home where he won't be tempted to romp around with other young dogs and will receive the proper diet, exercise and love he needs and deserves.
After three weeks of care Toby seems to be doing real good. He's gets a small dose of Medicam once a day and doesn't seem to be affected by his neck at all. He's been able to shake his head with no pain at all. He's acting just like any other pup would! Could you offer him a home filled with love?
