Tootsie's Story...
Tootsie is our little clown. She loves to run and goof around. She is a bit shy with people until she warms up to them, in a short time you will have a loyal companion for life. She is adorable with big floppy ears, hound dog eyes, and what looks like a cute grin on her face. This girl loves to play and will even keep herself amused by tossing the toy in the air and catching it again. She would love to have a place of her own to run and play, a warm place to relax, and a gentle hand to give her attention. This big goofy girl doesn't always know that her wiggling and jumping may not be good for small children whom she can knock down. Do you have room in your life for an adorable little clown who will make you laugh? If you do Tootsie would be right for you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tootsie, a South Haven Redbone Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Redbone Coonhound for sale in South Haven, or seeking a Redbone Coonhound dog from a breeder in South Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Redbone Coonhound breeders who help with Redbone Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
