My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Patches McGee is almost The Perfect Dog. He has an awesome disposition. He is housebroken. He doesn't chew furniture. He is well mannered and quiet...so quiet in fact, that I don't think he can bark, hence his possible Basenji lineage. His beautifully marked coat feels like velvet. He is friendly to everyone, and is great with other dogs. His tail never stops wagging, and he can wag it in several different ways(!) Only two things keep Patches from being The Perfect Dog. One is that his heartworm test showed a weak positive. He is currently being treated with inexpensive monthly ivermectin (Heartgard), and should test negative in about 6 months to a year. The second thing is that Patches does not like cats. Not one little bit!

Patches is about 4 years old, and weighs 45 pounds. His adoption fee is $150, and includes up to date vaccines, neuter, and microchip. To learn more about Patches, please email reinashouse@yahoo.com, or call 336-552-9885.
