Smitty's Story...
URGENT: Smitty will be surrendered to a kill shelter soon. His owner has started a new job and doesn't have time to care for him properly. Please help Smitty and save him from shelter surrender.

Smitty is a 3 year old American Bulldog mix., who weighs around 50 pounds. He's neutered and up to date on his vaccinations, is HW negative and on monthly preventatives. He knows basic commands such as sit, stay, is crate trained and housebroken. Smitty sleeps inside at night and has free roam of the house. There is another dog in Smitty's house, so he's okay with other dogs. He does however like to bark at dogs that come close to his property, so he's great at alerting you when people arrive. Not sure about cats as his owner has none. For the most part, Smitty is a lazy boy who loves his own personal space at times. He's in a home with a 2 year old child and tolerates her, so he would be best in a home with no small children. Smitty is a good, loving dog who would love to become your new best friend. Rehome fee is $80. Please email pass@caabr.org - time is critical.
