June's Story...
This pretty little miss with the VERY long tail is June. She is a calico cat which means she has 3 colors, orange or red, black and white. June also has a tabby pattern going on, as evidenced by the stripes making rings up her Very Long tail.
June and Bug are siblings – calico both. They are on the outsides of the picture.

June and Bug were rescued into a foster home from a high-kill shelter..........lucky ones even if they don't yet have that longed for forever home. We hope it is coming soon for these darling girls who are cuddly, cute and have catchy names. You would be a hero/heroine to them with your love and attention. June is a sweetheart! Please do look at them for adopting

Why Adoption is a Great Option

June, a Kansas City Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Kansas City, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Kansas City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kansas City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kansas City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kansas City paves the way for another one to be saved.
