Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Two year old, 14 lb Skye was picked up as a stray along with a pit bull in a Northern California town. These two dogs must have made friends on the street as the pit bull got claimed but Skye didn’t. She then made her way to rescue. We can’t believe she wasn’t claimed as she is a sweetheart!
Skye is a wonderful doxie who apparently had loving care and attention. She is friendly with people, although is protective of her home. She is being fostered in a home with no other pets or children but is well socialized with dogs and cats of all sizes. She has also been getting to meet people of all ages and lets everyone pet her.
Skye is active and energetic and loves to go for 1 mile walks multiple times per day. She is leash-trained and responds well to voice commands on leash. She loves playing fetch with her stuffies or a ball. She is house-trained to go outside on a regular schedule. She likes exploring the backyard and keeping the squirrels out of her yard.
Skye loves sitting with her special people and is always ready to help you de-stress anytime you need a few minutes of quiet time. She likes curling up in her dog bed or in her favorite chair. She is crate trained but can be quite vocal as she prefers to cuddle under the covers of your bed. She does not like being left alone for long periods of time.
Skye is spayed and current on her vaccinations.
If you are interested in Skye , please fill out an adoption application at www.scdr.org and email Lindy at linla@comcast.net.
The tax deductible donation for Skye is $275.00.
