Malaki's Info...

I am up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Malaki's Story...
Thisguy was a hit at adoption. He loved to greet everyone , and especially loved children. He was very alert and attentive. He has a wonderful disposition and did not bark at any other dogs. He is good on a leash , and would just love someone to throw the ball for him.. He was fine with other dogs and is able to get along with any other animal, from cats to turtles.
Please go see him and give him a walk . there is a great adoption friendly interaction room you can take your other pet or your family to visit with them. The shelter is at 650 John Howell DRive , off Wilma Sigmon Rd.It is newly remodeled too. Hours of operation for adopting are 11 to 4 , Mon-sat. you can adopt the same day, but the shelter does not accept credit cards. For only 85.00 you get the spay or neuter, rabies vaccines, other vaccinations, a worming, a microchip and even 30 days of free pet health insurance. YOu cannot beat such a agreat deal anywhere. don't delay, these dogs dont have forever in this shelter which is forced to euthanize due to pet over population.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Malaki, a Lincolnton Labrador Retriever/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pointer for sale in Lincolnton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pointer dog from a breeder in Lincolnton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincolnton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincolnton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pointer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincolnton paves the way for another one to be saved.
