RIPLEY's Story...
This is Ripley. He is a beautiful chocolate lab/terrier or boxer mix that was pulled from a HIGH kill pound in Gary with Stella with only hours left to live. He is only 8 months old, UTD on all vaccinations, he is Heartworm neg and on preventative. He just got neutered and is ready for his forever home. His adoption fee is $125. Won't you give this handsome boy a chance at a life he has always deserved? He is currently in a loving foster home, knows basic commands, & walks well on a leash. He loves kids, other dogs, but likes to chase cats. He has not hurt them, just like to chase them. His foster mom says he is a big baby and has an easy temperment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RIPLEY, a Claypool Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Claypool, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Claypool.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Claypool already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Claypool breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Claypool paves the way for another one to be saved.
