My name is Simon and I'm a 5 year old chihuahua. My foster mommy says I'm absolutely too cute and my original home was very sad to see me go. I love to cuddle, sit on people's laps, and snuggle at night. I am potty trained. I love to cuddle up in bed with you. I can get along with other dogs. I had three sisters (dogs) at my originial home and I'm getting used to my foster doggie sister. I don't mind older kids if they are gentle with me, sometimes I get a little nervous since I'm so small. Please give me a chance, I would love to find my forever home!
We would prefer Simon go to a home that has no young children just due to his size. Teenagers are fine. Simon loves to be with his person so he would not do well in a home where no one is home during the day.
Please understand we do not adopt out to families with children under the age of 5. We do not adopt to renters. Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not.
A dog is a lifetime commitment. The dogs in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners :( We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the dog is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs. Thank you for choosing to adopt not shop!
