Pia's Story...
Are you looking for a forever friend? Meet Pia, a 10 month old Wire Haired Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix who weighs about 10lbs and is fully grown. This friendly girl was dumped in a field in San Antonio, Texas but was saved by Tiny Paws Rescue and is now looking for a wonderful home to call her very own. Sweet as can be to everyone she meets; dogs, cats, adults, and children (over 10 due to her size). Pia loves to play and will entertain herself with toys all day long but would love if you or another pup would join in her games. She really does enjoy playing with other dogs as much as possible, so she would do best in a home with a doggy pal. Pia is young so she does still have that puppy spunk but will settle down and nap throughout the day as well. She is fully housebroken & such a love. She does well on leashed walks & would love to brighten your life with her playful antics. If you are interested in adopting Pia and saving a life please fill out an application at tinypawsrescue.com. Pia is currently being fostered in CT so must be adopted in the New England area. Must have an excellent vet reference and a companion for Pia or someone that is home most of the time.

www.tinypawsrescue.com for an application. Must have an excellent vet reference and need a dog companion or one that stays home most of the time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pia, a New Milford Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier for sale in New Milford, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in New Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
