I am Buster a buff/white neutered male around 2 years old who is as sweet as can be. I am up-to-date on my vaccines, negative for FeLv/FIV/HW, revolution treatment and litter box trained. I came to WCR just a few short days ago from the local kill shelter here in Fredericksburg, VA. My number came up which menat my time was up, so my foster mommy decided to she would give me a get of jail free card. Boy am I glad and so happy with my new found freedom. I am enjoying looking at the window, playing with my new toys, eating good food (jail food is not very good), and just having someone who care about me. I would love to find my new furever home soon. Please consider me for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a Spotsylvania Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Spotsylvania, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Spotsylvania.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spotsylvania already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spotsylvania breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spotsylvania paves the way for another one to be saved.
