My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chloe is a very sweet, 2 year old German Shepherd Mix. She currently weighs 64 pounds and she is full grown. She is housebroken, does well with other dogs, and she is currently attending obedience classes to learn some of her basic commands so that she will be an excellent doggy citizen for some new family! Chloe is a bit shy upon meeting new people, but she is doing very well with this and her trainer is working with her to help her get better at meeting new people. We would prefer Chloe go to a family that has previous experience with the German Shepherd breed. Chloe knows all of her basic commands (sit, stay, down, off, drop it) and does well walking on a leash. She is not food aggressive and takes treats gently. She loves to run and play and also just chill out on the couch. Chloe is a high energy dog, so she needs a place that has a fenced in yard for her to run and get her energy out or a family who likes to run and can take her running with them. Chloe does well around older children (age 10 and older) but has not been exposed to young kids as her foster family isn't around the younger ones much. Chloes is spayed, UTD on all her shots, on flea and tick and heartworm preventative medicine, and heartworm negative as of December 2011. Chloe will make a great addition to the right family. If you are interested in adopting her, just let us know. She is currently being fostered in CT.

***All of our dogs are located in TN, unless otherwise stated in their bio above. We are a shelterless rescue, which means we do not have a physical location, so it is not possible to come to see multiple dogs at one time. We have a handful of foster homes up North, but the vast majority of dogs reside in TN. Our adoption fee is $450 and includes all their vetting, including their spay/neuter, and transport up to the Northeast.***
