I am Sonny and cute neutered buff & white male kitten who is so sweet. I was born around May 10, 2011. I am very adorable and have the best personality. I was taken to a local kill shelter by my previous owner because they said they could not keep me and my siblings, Suzy Q and Zinger. When we first arrived, we were so scared and really did not understand why we being left, we did not think we had done anything wrong. As we tired to settle in, we were saying our prayers and crossing our paws that someone would help us escape. We were there a little over a week when Advocats came to visit and fell in love with us. Since being at my foster home, I have learned to trust again. I now have so many toys to play with and loving it. The food is pretty good here too. I am now able to explore, cuddle and I am making new friends. I will be ready for my new home in in mid July and In the meantime, I am loving life and waiting to begin a new life making new furever memories. I have been neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, treated for fleas, parasites, and earmites with Revolution Kitten and litter box trained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sonny, a Spotsylvania Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Spotsylvania, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Spotsylvania.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spotsylvania already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spotsylvania breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spotsylvania paves the way for another one to be saved.
