Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dora is an adorable and incredibly sweet mix of Labrador and Shepherd. She is a young girl that is approximately 1 year old. She is came into the rescue very emaciated and is still very thin, only weighing 35 pounds, but we are working on getting her fattened up. Dora is wonderfully sweet and loving with everyone that she meets and is constantly wagging her tail. She can be a bit selective of her doggy friends and would need to be properly introduced to any new canine housemates. She is a smart girl who sits on command and takes treats gently, but appreciatively from your hand. Dora would make a great addition to a new family that is looking for a loving and loyal companion.
To meet and possibly adopt this special girl, please contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net. Dora is spayed, de-wormed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative. Her adoption donation of $200 benefits the rescued dogs of Lucky Dogs Rescue. She is currently living in a boarding kennel in West Chicago, IL and she would love to get out of the kennel and into a loving home environment.
