Bobby's Story...
LOCATED IN LOUISIANA.

Bobby is a handsome 2 yr old male beagle. He weighs 40 lbs. He is a sweet guy who gets along great with everyone! Bobby was picked up running stray down a dirt road with his brother Robby. He is a typical beagle who prefers to be outside sniffing around the yard. He gets along well with other dogs and children. Not tested with cats. If you are interested in taking me into your forever home please fill out the adoption form here: http://www.animalrescuefront.org/adoption-form.html

Although Bobby is currently located in Southeast Louisiana, transportation to the New England area can be easily arranged.

Because I am from the southeastern states where there is a high occurrence of heartworm disease I have tested positive for heartworms. Thanks to Animal Rescue Front and a grant from Best Friends Animal Society, AAVA is able to treat me at no cost to the adopter! That means I will be healthy and heartworm-free when I am transported to my new home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bobby, a Groton Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Groton, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
