Bella's Story...
Bella - ID#A095849: I am a female black Akbash and Anatolian Shepherd. My age is unknown. I have been at the shelter since March 30, 2012.

Beautiful Bella is an Anatolian/Akbash mix who has only known life with her herd of goats. She is very reserved and shy with people, but does enjoy soft rubs under the chin and belly. She will not come up to you for attention, but she desperately wants to. Bella needs someone to teach her how to be a family dog and in turn, they will receive the love of a truly beautiful girl. Bella's ID Number is: A095849 Bella has been available to adopt/rescue/foster since April 2, 2012. When you call about me, please make sure you use my ID number. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Yuba City Akbash/Anatolian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Akbash/Anatolian Shepherd for sale in Yuba City, or seeking a Akbash/Anatolian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Yuba City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yuba City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yuba City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Akbash/Anatolian Shepherd breeders who help with Akbash/Anatolian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yuba City paves the way for another one to be saved.
