Pancake's Story...
Meet precious little Pancake! We just want to cuddle her! She was born in November and her mama is a purebred miniature schnauzer. We think her dad was a wirehair travelling milkbone salesman. Pancake isn't going to get much bigger and will stay a small dog. She is crate trained, happy, friendly and loves to play! She is learning to walk on a leash and she gets along fine with other dogs and cats. Pancake is spayed and ready for her new home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pancake, a Portland Miniature Schnauzer/Wirehaired Fox Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Schnauzer/Wirehaired Fox Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Miniature Schnauzer/Wirehaired Fox Terrier puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Schnauzer/Wirehaired Fox Terrier breeders who help with Miniature Schnauzer/Wirehaired Fox Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
