Sadie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Sadie's Story...
Sadie was found as a stray. Her foster mom went to great lengths to find her owners as it was quite obvious that she had been a house dog and very well cared for. She is very smart, she will sit, shake, go down and loves to fetch. Most of the time when she tells her to drop it (her rope bone) she will, and other times she wants you to play tug of war with it. When she asks her to find her rope she is off and running to find it. She seems so aimed to please!
She loves to ride! She just sits in the back seat and takes in the breeze. She also LOOOVES her belly rubbed. Sadie loves to play with other dogs and she is untested with cats.

We want her to go to a Loving and Caring Family that will love and respect her, be patient her because it is not her fault that she does not understand what and why things have changed so much for her. We want a family that wants her for WHO she is, not what she is (a purebred.) This girl will make a wonderful pet for your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Portland German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
