Jasper Mini Macaw's Story...
Our wonderful 10 year old hand tame Sever Macaw named Jasper is a good bird, he needs a good home. Jasper is a real sweet boy who MUST have the attention of a female human companion. He will tolerate a male but their MUST be a female handler. Jasper is hand tame and he is Not nippy towards females. Jasper is very quite handsome boy that has a large cage.

We need to place him locally, in either Vancouver, Washington area or Portland area, so we can conduct home visit.

Jasper is very tame and sweet. He dose not bite or scream. BUT AGAIN, He Prefers a Female handler.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasper Mini Macaw, a Vancouver Macaw was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Macaw for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Macaw from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Macaw breeders who help with Macaw rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
