Alex's Story...
My story: My cat family was on the skids when I was rescued in Jacksonville and I no longer have a family I was told. So its up to you people in this area to give me one. I like to touch noses, and will play with your hair- if you are bald we can pretend. My prior owners tried to add other animals but I am a bit of a diva so I need to be the only animal in the house so I can get all the attention! Will you give me a new furr-ever home?
Good with Cats: No | Good with Dogs: No | Good with Children: Yes

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alex, a Tampa Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
