My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clarice has had an unlucky life so far -- she ended up in the shelter with her kittens, then she was adopted, but her owner died and the family returned her to rescue. She was adopted again, but that family discovered they had allergies. So she ended up in rescue again and withdrew, timid around so many foster dogs and cats, and she gained a tremendous amount of weight. Now she's with a new rescue and we're gradually getting her onto a low-calorie food; her weight should be your main concern with her. She lived most of her life eating Kitten Chow, so it will take a while to get her down to a normal size. She's very, very sweet and loving but needs a very calm, quiet home where her timid nature can just relax. She loves being brushed and petted, and she doesn't have a mean bone in her body!
